So we finally made it home! The Dr was a little concerned about Cyndie's blood count but not so concerned that we would have to spend another day there. We left the Hospital around 11:40am and we're home by 12:00pm. Aunt Carla and Uncle Mo were already waiting for us and we all basically collapsed. Grandma Dee came by too, to check out Luca and we all had a very relaxing Sunday afternoon at home.
I have had a little time to think about things and I am still winding down but I am so glad Luca is here and my family is safe and healthy. I really don't want to know exactly how close we came to losing Cyndie and Luca but I can tell you this much, it was way too close for me. That was one of the most stressful nights of my life. I know everything worked out in the end, and I am not quite ready to go off on my Centinela Hospital rant yet, I am still too angry and I want to cool off a little more and try to think about the events with a cool head before I blog it. I can say that the nursing staff, especially the day shift were great but thats another post...
Thank you to everyone who made the effort to call, post or come by and say hi to Luca, I know it's a pain in the butt to go to the hospital, that one in particular but it really did make the day go by fast. It also just reaffirms just how lucky Cyndie and I are to be blessed with so many good friends and family.
Thank you, we love you all too! Come by anytime...don't be shy.
And speaking of SHY- to all you LURKERS out there...you know who you are :)
I know you're looking at the pictures which I love but POST SOMETHING, ANYTHING just so I know you like what you're seeing...I love you guys too :P
